Terms and Conditions of Entry

Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.

1.1 This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc. or any of its businesses including Instagram and Facebook (Meta).

1.2 By entering the Promotion, you’re agreeing to share your handle with Secure Electronic Registries Victoria (SERV), ABN 86 627 986 396. If you win, you will need to provide additional details for the production and delivery of the Prize Package.

2.1 Entry is open to Victorian residents who are 18 years old or over who agree who agree to the terms and conditions of entry.

2.2 To enter you must have an Instagram profile set on public to ensure that your entry can be seen and in order to receive notification via Instagram, direct message if you win.

2.3 SERV employees are not eligible to enter.

3.1 The competition commences on 14 December 2023 AT 9AM AEDT and concludes on 4 January 2024 at 5PM AEDT.

3.2 In order to enter, entrants must complete the following steps:

(a) Follow us on Instagram at @serv_australia

(b) Give the competition post a like

(c) Tag a friend in the comments of the competition post and tell us what you like most about the Commemorative Title

3.3 All steps must be completed by the closing time and date of the promotion for your entry to be considered.

3.4 You can enter as many times as you like, however you are only eligible to win one prize.

3.5 There is no entry fee or purchase necessary to enter the promotion.

4.1 The winners will be chosen by the Promoter based on creative merit and originality. This is a game of skill and there is no element of chance involved. The Promoter will select a number of reserves in the event that the original winners are deemed ineligible, cannot be contacted, or otherwise cannot participate in the Promotion.

4.2 The Promoter’s decision will be final and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence regarding the result

5.1 There are six (6) prizes and six (6) winners. Each winner will receive one prize package (Prize Package), as set out below.

5.2 The Prize Package consists of:

· One (1) x $150 Eftpos Cash Gift Card

· One (1) x Victorian Commemorative Title valued at over $114

5.3 Commemorative Titles are available for Victorian properties only. Winners will need to provide SERV the Victorian property address to which the Commemorative Title will relate.

5.4 Additional terms and conditions apply to the Eftpos Cash Gift Card. You must activate your Eftpos Gift Card before 31 May 2024, and spend prior to 30 November 2024. Full terms and conditions can be found at  https://rewardscometrue.com.au/information/card-holder-19-digit-tcs/

5.5 Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

6.1 The winners will be notified via Instagram direct message on 9 January 2024 and tagged publicly in the initial competition post.

6.2 The winner will need to provide their full name and a physical address for delivery of the Prize Package. Commemorative Titles cannot be sent to a PO Box address.

6.4 Winners who do not provide a Victorian address for the purpose of production and delivery of the of the Commemorative Certificate will only be eligible for the $150 Cash Gift Card.

8.1 You fully release and hold Meta harmless from all liability in relation to this Promotion.

8.2 All personal information collected for the purposes of the Promotion will be dealt with, used, disclosed and stored in accordance with relevant privacy laws and SERV’s Privacy Policy which is available at https://www.commemorativetitle.com.au/privacy-policy-and-collection-notices-2/ and which contains information regarding how you can access your personal information, correct it and/or make a complaint about our handling of your information. By providing your personal details, you agree to the terms of SERV’s Privacy Policy.

8.3 By entering this Promotion you agree to allow the Promoter to use, reproduce or publish all or part of your entry in future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability.

8.4 The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant where the Promoter believes that the entry or the entry process has been tampered with or where any entry has been submitted not in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

8.5 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any lost, late or miscommunicated correspondence due to incorrect entrant information.

8.6 To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, direct, indirect, special or consequential loss, or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this Promotion or by the winner accepting or using any prize.

8.7 If, for any reason, a winner does not take the prize (or an element of the prize) by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited and cash will not be awarded in lieu.

8.8 Entrants agree that they are fully responsible for any information or materials they submit via the promotion including, but not limited to, their name, photo creation, social media handle, comments, recordings and images (“Content”). The Promoter shall not be liable in any way for such Content to the full extent permitted by law. The Promoter may amend, remove or decline to publish any Content without notice for any reason whatsoever, and the Promoter may request the removal of entries from Instagram at any time in its absolute discretion.

8.9 Entrants warrant and agree that in entering the Promotion:

(a) they will not submit any Content that is unlawful or fraudulent or that the Promoter may deem in breach of any laws or rights or indecent, inappropriate or unsuitable for publication;

(b) they will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation, those governing copyright, content, defamation, privacy, publicity and the access or use of others’ computer or communication systems and Instagram’s requirements.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria. The parties irrevocably submit to the nonexclusive jurisdiction of courts with jurisdiction there and waive any right to object to the venue on any ground.
